Today was a sudden return to Stardew Valley after helping my mom with errands in the morning. Started a new file with one of the alt farm options (medowlands, which starts you off with a coup, some chickens, and default access to blue grass). I'm only up to the first festival right now, but it's obviously been fun. Leaned a lot more into fishing which is the best early game money maker, no smokers yet but catfish are still worth a decent amount without them. Only 4 days of rain in the spring unfortunately, but it's fine. I feel like I should be growing more crops but spring crops aren't that valuable anyway so it doesn't matter that much, and I only just got access to sprinklers too.
